About your responsibilities for the role
As a Manufacturing Drafter in our company, you will play a key role in designing and developing precise technical drawings to support the production of physical goods made from stainless steel materials.
You will collaborate with the GM, production team, and C-Level to ensure our products are manufactured with high quality and in accordance with specifications.
- Create and design 3D Shop drawings using 3D modeling or CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar software for various metal or stainless steel physical products.
- Calculate the Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and Cost Price Calculation for the designed products.
- Research, identify, and analyze development and new product opportunities.
- Integrate necessary technical design changes for products and ensure documentation of technical design outcomes and BoQ are consistently updated.
- Collaborate with various departments, especially with the General Manager and Production PIC, for the implementation of shop drawings into the production stage.
- Provide technical advice and solutions in addressing design and production challenges that may arise during field implementation.
Requirements :
- Educational background : SMK or SMA or Diploma or Bachelor's degree in civil Engineering, interior design etc. (actually we don't really care about your educational background as long as you have experiences and competencies required for this role).
- Working experiences : 2+ years experience as a Manufacturing Drafter or related position in a manufacturing industry or civil engineering
- High proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD or other CAD software.
- Deep understanding of technical design principles, tolerances, and materials.
- Ability to comprehend and apply industry standards in technical drawings.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
- Creativity in designing technical solutions and addressing design and production challenges.
- Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
